This Privacy Policy explains how Trading AI Extension (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you:

• Install and use our Chrome extension to analyze TradingView charts, and
• Visit our landing page or enter your email to verify subscription status.

2. What We Collect

2.1 Chart Screenshots

When you click “Analyze,” we capture a screenshot of your active TradingView tab and send it—solely for AI processing—to our secure backend. No other browsing or personal pages are captured.

2.2 Email Address

On our landing page, you may enter your email only to verify your paid subscription. We issue a short-lived token to your extension and do not store your email long-term or share it.

2.3 Local Storage

Within the extension we store:

• Your subscription token (JWT).
• Usage counts (to enforce quotas).
• Last analysis results (for quick reloads).

3. How We Use Your Data

• Chart Analysis: We send only your screenshot to our AI service to generate trade setups and pattern insights.
• Subscription Verification: We use the email-derived token to confirm you have an active plan.
• Quota Enforcement: We track how many AI calls you’ve made to enforce your plan’s limits.

4. Do We Share Your Data?

We do not sell or rent any of your data. We share your screenshot only with our own AI backend under TLS, and your email only with Stripe for subscription lookups. All other data remains private.

5. Third-Party Services

Payments are processed exclusively via Stripe. We never see or store your credit-card details. Our AI processing runs on a secured OpenAI instance.

6. Data Retention

Usage counts and tokens are stored until your quota resets (daily or lifetime, per your plan). We do not retain your email or chart data beyond what’s necessary for these functions.

7. Security

All data transmissions occur over HTTPS. We follow industry best practices to secure your token and limit access.

8. Your Rights

You can:

• Uninstall the extension at any time (this deletes all local storage).
• Revoke your token by cancelling your Stripe subscription.
